In Your Face Steak Marinade

In Your Face Red Table Wine is one of our best sellers. It is made of Syrah grapes, blended with blackberries, black pepper and both French and American oaks. We developed this wine specifically to go with red meats, things made with red sauce and then discovered later how delicious it is with dark chocolate too!  Best when served at room temperature.  

Some ideas of what to pair with In Your Face:
Steak, Prime Rib, Any type of red meat, Lasagna, Spaghetti, Pizza, Chocolate Cake, Dark Chocolate Truffles

I also use this wine in many of the recipes I make, so choosing just one is difficult! However, a very easy idea is to add about 1/2 cup of this to any marinara sauce you make. It imparts such great flavor. Yum!!

Red Meat Marinade
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup Mill Lane Winery In Your Face wine
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 pounds of red meat (your choice)


Put all ingredients into a heavy duty zip lock bag, Seal and squeeze to blend. Add meat and squish around to coat the meat. Place in refrigerator for a minimum of four hours (overnight is best). Turn the bag every hour to ensure even distribution of marinade over the steaks. Grill steaks to your liking, using the rest of the marinade to baste during grilling.
