Strawberry Wine Vinaigrette

Our Strawberry Wine is one of my summertime favorites (OK, an all the time favorite!) It's fabulous when well chilled on a hot summer day while sitting on the deck. I love to serve it with a whole frozen berry dropped into the glass. The berry will keep it cold and soak up the wine as it thaws. This gives you a wine infused treat to eat when your wine is gone. Yum!

Strawberry Wine Vinaigrette


1/4 Cup Mill Lane Winery Strawberry Wine
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 Teaspoon Sugar (to taste)
1/8 Teaspoon Poppy Seeds

Add all ingredients into a bowl and whisk well. Refrigerate at least an hour. Shake before serving.

I like to put this on spinach salad with chicken, chopped strawberries, almonds, red onions and Chinese chow mein (the crunchy kind in the can).
